WHY MSE

Teacher's Training Programs

MSE put great emphasis on updating its staff with the latest methodologies and knowledge available in order to benefit our students .

During this year our teachers joined in many training programs and workshops designed and executed by the career development and consultation Academy , in many different aspects of education , e.g. class management , learning styles and strategies , assessment tasks, effective tests, methods of teaching , language structure, teaching practice , language development ….etc.

Moreover , we have two of our teachers that received the TEFL certificates from the University of California Santa Cruz .

In addition , our staff also joined in two different conferences : the workshops of the first conference was held in December 2004 for 3 days, and was entitled ( Best Practice in TEFL ) and the second was held in February 2005 for 3 days and it was for children with special needs and it was entitled : ( Reading and writing Difficulties ( Dyslexia ) ) .

All these courses , workshops and conference are provided for teachers on the expense of the school in order to provide the best educational services to make our students excel.

Cooperation with the French Cultural Centre ( CFCC)

MSE is in continuous cooperation with the CFCC In order to train teachers and Use of their facilities and expertise in many different occasions for our French School .



Student exchange programs

MSE is one of the major participants in the School exchange program through AFS which is an intercultural program that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help students to develop the knowledge , skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world .

Environment & Cultural programs

We are environment friendly
MSE declared environment friendly school H.E Dr. Mamdouh Riyad, ex. Minister of environment has recently honourd the school's celebration of declaring its friendship to the environment . The attendance of H.E Dr. Riyad was a true embodiment of the government's support to educational bodies to encourage the student to pay attention to the importance of being environment – friendly .

Late 2004 MSE launched the environment friendly campaign among its students who have exerted magnificent effort to collect waste batteries which they used to bin and throw away not realizing their impact on the environment .

In appreciation of their effort the students were awarded green plants in exchange of their batteries submitted to the school . They were also granted appreciation certificates by H.E Dr Riyad who expressed his admiration and appreciation of the school's distinguished efforts .

Projects with the British Council

Hunter and Hunted
This is a competition adobted by the British Council in which school students were invited from Cairo & Alexandria to participate in a contest for downloading programs through special software onto their robot .

The goal of the contest is to create a new generation that can face the technology evaluation and to prepare the Egyptian students for the international robotics contest .

MASE team were the 2nd team on all schools and was decorated the silver medal .

Young leaders programme

Dreams and teams is a young leader training programmer which uses sport as a vehicle for developing citizenship skills in young people aged 14 – 17 years . The British council is sponsoring this programme because it believes in the social and educational importance of sports ans seeks to share the creativity and innovation of UK sports programme in building international culture relations particularly with young people .

Egyptian young leaders arranged a beautiful event in our school where by 100 students from the primary stage joined in a competition based on sports games teaching them team building , leadership skills, self-esteem and confidence .

All students received certificates from the British council in recognition of the school's participation in such a success a successful event

Summer School

A very successful school programme was organized and held at MSE during the months of June – July 2004 under direct supervision of C.D.C (Career Development & Consultation Academy) jointly with MSE administration .

About 200 student joined from different schools and ages whereby all had great summer activities utilizing the school's spacious facilities .

The summer school was highly appreciated by all participants . A wonderful graduation ceremony was held at the school premises where the students performed before their parents and received certificates of graduation from C.D.C and MSE administration .
